If something goes wrong

The numbers are round and it reads as typed.
Exactly 100.00 SOL and a total of exactly $1,000,000.00 are the most common giveaway of all. Real balances carry long decimal tails from partial fills and fees. Use 103.4471 rather than 100, and let the total land somewhere ugly like $984,213.77.
Every position is up.
Real portfolios contain losers. A screen where all six holdings are green, by similar percentages, describes a market that has never existed. Set two positions at a loss — a memecoin bag down 40% does more for believability than another 100x.
The rows do not add up to the total.
This happens when balances get edited in more than one pass and one figure is left behind. Add the individual fiat values and compare them to the headline. Setting quantities rather than dollar figures avoids it, because every derived number recalculates together.
There is an address bar at the top.
You are in a browser tab rather than the installed app. Add it to your home screen and launch it from the icon. It cannot be cropped out of a vertical video without losing the top of the frame.
The wallet does not match the coin.
A Solana-heavy portfolio in an interface built around Bitcoin, or an unlisted token showing a fiat value it could not have, both break the illusion for exactly the audience most likely to be looking closely. Match the interface to the chain in step one.
